Making a Difference in the Communities We Serve
Members of the firm are encouraged to serve the communities in which they work and live. They give back by supporting charitable organizations, and participating in special events and fundraising activities. The firm sponsors many of those events, and ad-hoc groups of employees often get together to participate in other activities on their own.
Kids with Heart
Heffler, Radetich & Saitta LLP is the presenter and lead sponsor of the Kids with Heart Annual Talent Showcase for Variety – The Children's Charity. Sponsors attend a pre-show gathering of colleagues and friends of the firm, mingle with local celebrities and enjoy fine hors d'oeuvres. The host reception is followed by a special evening of song and dance by the extraordinary children of Variety.
Old Newsboy's Day
Firm members sell special Happiness editions of the Philadelphia Inquirer on Old Newsboys' Day to raise money for Variety – The Children's Charity.
Hero Scholarship Fund of Philadelphia
The firm is proud to be associated with the Hero Scholarship Fund of Philadelphia and its annual Thrill Show. This organization provides college scholarships to the children of police officers and firefighters killed or disabled in the line of duty. The firm has been presented with the Award of Merit, in recognition of its involvement.
Anything for a Cause!
Walking, bowling, rowing --- anything for a cause! Employees volunteer for a host of informal group activities in support of the following causes: American Cancer Society, Manna, NJ Pediatric Patients Charitable Trust Fund, Young Variety, Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, Goodlooking Foundation and Crohn's & Colitis Foundation.
